ABOUT OUR CONGREGATION... SO FAR
WHERE GOD IS LEADING US
SHEPHERDS AND SERVANTS
Redeemer Lutheran Ladies
By far, our ladies group is the most active in the congregation. This group of women faithfully worships, volunteers, studies, prays, and serves together for the benefit of the whole community, not just Redeemer Lutheran Church.
They meet once per month for their regular meeting, which usually includes a presentation from an outside group, charity, or service club. They have had presentations ranging from The Women’s Resource Centre to Brandon University.
The RLL meet once per month for breakfast on a Saturday morning; they meet monthly for a bible study geared toward women; they can provide catering for funerals held at the church building; they coordinate the group that makes and sends of quilts each year to support Canadian Lutheran World Relief; and host our annual Easter Breakfast. That’s not to mention all the other ways that they get involved in the congregation through other groups.
