Sunday mornings don’t often give enough time to really dig deep into the scriptures that form the basis of our faith. This group gets together to do that – to look deeply at the bible in order to grow more in faith and understand why we believe what we do. We are not all biblical scholars or experts. We are just people who want to know more. Through reading scripture, group discussion, and questions, we engage the text as a group and bring our own experiences and insights to the table.

We use different formats and different materials depending on the season of the church year and the interest of the group. We will often spend several weeks studying a particular book of the bible. But we will also study topics, or use resources centered around a theme. During Lent this year, we used a devotional book as our basis for looking at the questions that Jesus asked throughout his ministry.

If you want to know more about the bible and grow more in your faith, then this is a group for you. Anyone is welcome to join, but please give us some notice so that we can make sure we have any materials that you might need.
